Your Tenancy
Signing a tenancy agreement, you will be entering into a legal contract. Your contact will include a number of items, including your rights and responsibilities as a tenant and that Barrowmore must keep to as your landlord.
Please read your contract. Should you need support in understanding your tenancy, a support worker can assist you to read through and explain.
Your Responsibilities
- Not to cause a nuisance to your neighbours; this includes annoyance to anyone, harassment, including racial harassment.
- Not cause deliberate damage to your home and/or furnishings.
- Pay all of rent and other charges that are due.
- To give Barrowmore 4 weeks notice, in writing, if you wish to end your tenancy.
- Keep to all the conditions in your tenancy contract.
Barrowmore's Responsibilities As Your Landlord
- Offer housing related support.
- Provide you with a resident handbook.
- Provide you with information in relation to facilities/utilites, etc..
- Carry out repairs.
- Provide opportunity for you to put forward ideas/views, etc..
- Advise you on paying your rent and other charges.
